BRITAIN'S Got Talent's child star George Sampson looks very different as he lands a huge role in Los Angeles
The dancer shot to fame on the first series of the ITV talent show back in 2007, but is best known for his stint on the second season the following year.
The Warrington-born lad auditioned for BGT 14 years ago and revealed he used money from his own pocket to pay for dance lessons – while busking on the streets.
He performed to Timbaland's tune Drop and proceeded to the next round but failed to make it to the semi-finals.
A year later he returned to the stage to dance to Bob Sinclair's Rock This Party in front of judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden and Piers Morgan.
It was enough to get him into the next round, where he performed his iconic routine to Singin' In The Rain.
He won over the hearts of the nation with his amazing skills and got to the final.
George performed exactly the same routine, which ended with him flipping onto his back in the rain.
The youngster beat Signature and Andrew Johnston to the top spot and was crowned the winner.
George, now 29, is still doing what he loves most – performing.
He has moved to Los Angeles and is starring in the musical Everybody's Talking About Jamie, after wowing audiences in the West End.
He has a substantial role playing school bully Dean Paxton.
Photos taken last night show George flashing a dazzling smile on the red carpet as the musical opened in Hollywood.
He reflected on how far he has come in a sweet post on Instagram, writing: "I used to dance in the rain and the snow on the streets of Manchester/ Liverpool and Warrington, when the money meant I could eat and feed my family at night.
"Back then I knew one day I’d be here. Hollywood theater debut."
