Celebrity MasterChef star reveals Gregg and John's reaction after he served dish that had been down the SINK | The Sun

CELEBRITY MasterChef star Luca Bish has revealed how John Torode and Gregg Wallace failed to pick up on his hilarious kitchen nightmare.

The Love Island star made an epic blunder while tackling a guineafowl challenge and somehow managed to not only rescue the dish, but achieve a glowing review too.

Appearing on chow co-star Wynne Evans' BBC radio show, Luca revealed how he salvaged his meal from the sink.

He said: "You're rushing around. It's MasterChef. You're running around, you're kind of excited, the pressure is on.

"So I'm boiling the stock. It's ready, so I just need to sieve it out. I get the pot over the sink and I just straight away pour it down the sink. I shoved my hand into the sink and blocked it with a pot of soap. As I've put the soap in, I've pushed down and the soap's gone in as well. I'm scooping it out with a spoon."

Opera singer Wynne couldn't contain his laughter over the chaotic scene.

Luca continued: "And they really liked it. I don't know what soap it was, but maybe it goes well with the gravy, who knows."

Sensing something was amiss, Luca said the cameramen rushed over. However, he acted like everything was fine until they turned away and desperately went about rectifying his mistake.

He said: "I boiled it a bit more to get rid of that soapy taste, but they said my sauce was great."

Other than the stress of the competition, self-proclaimed fussy eater Luca called the experience "unbelievable" and said he made some really good friends on the show.
