Chanelle Hayes reveals her fears as her mum's killer is set to be released from prison after 30 years

CHANELLE Hayes has revealed her anxiety as her mum’s killer is set to be released from prison after 30 years.

The reality star's mother, Andrea Sinclair, was working as a prostitute when she was murdered aged 32 by her client Keith Pollard.

Chanelle, who was born in prison, was just five months old at the time of her mum's murder and ended up being adopted by Christine and Harry Hayes.

Now, after nearly 30 years, Keith is up for parole and Chanelle has revealed her fears.

Speaking to new! Magazine about whether what happened to her mum makes Mother's Day harder, she said: “It does a bit.

“More so because her murderer,  Keith Pollard, is up for parole around now. I feel anxious about it.”

When asked if she was worried that she would be a target, she said:  “No, I don’t think that. He’ll be an old man now. But he’s not safe to be out on the streets and I hate the thought of him being free.”

Chanelle, who found fame on Celebrity Big Brother, previously revealed she always knew she had been adopted but was shocked when she discovered the truth about her mum.

During an appearance on Loose Women, Chanelle – who has two older sisters – explained her mum had fallen in with the wrong crowd and had turned to drugs and prostitution.

She said: “[Mum] left me and my sisters with a friend and went out, and she got locked in a flat with a man [Keith Pollard, a client]. She got strangled and had bits of her chopped off and he kept her there for days.

“I completely understand why they (her adoptive parents) wanted to keep that from me. But at that point I did find out and it did shock me and made me feel sick, it felt like the weight was off of my shoulders.”
