Christmas on the Farm: Channel 5 teases their festive special
Christmas on the Farm presenters Helen Skelton and Jules Hudson were joined by Rob and Dave Nicholson and JB Gill for the special festive episode. Emmerdale star Lisa Riley made a guest appearance as Santa on the show, leaving Helen and Jules excited for her arrival.
Yorkshire Vet star David Melleney visited the reindeer in the Cairngorms and guests on the farm competed in a gift-wrapping challenge. Lisa opened up about her favourite time of the year and teased what was to come for the ITV soap.
Teasing her arrival onto the farm, Jules said: “Christmas of course is almost upon us, Santa’s sleigh is packed and ready to go.
“But before the epic journey begins there is a special stop to be made right here at the farm. Who do you think our Secret Santa is?
“Well, as tradition demands, wearing a nice red coat but this Santa is probably more used to leopard print.”

As the Secret Santa got stuck in, Helen added: “Definitely comfortable on the farm and went straight in, can you guess who it is?”
Later in the show, the team had a present-wrapping segment where Helen noted: “All of these have made us feel really Christmassy.
“I am already imagining a crackling fire and a bit of Buble on in the background and some mould wine and you have set the scenery.”
Jules continued: “Father Christmas may be one of the most popular and recognisable figures on earth.
