Compulsion viewers switch off after just one episode as they blast 'woeful and unrealistic' Channel 5 premiere

COMPULSION viewers were forced to switch off just minutes into Wednesday's episode as they blasted the "unrealistic" premiere.

The mini-series follows a paramedic who, after a fatal train crash, develops a gambling addiction to try to cope with her PTSD – but it hasn't gone down well with some.

The thriller consists of four episodes which will air over four consecutive nights, however, many have stated they won't be tuning in again after its "diabolical" opening instalment.

Taking to Twitter, one person vented: "Wooden acting, far fetched script, ridiculous plot and woeful scene links. Diabolical."

Echoing their comments, someone else fumed: "Can't work out where this is going. Probably nowhere. Won't be tuning in again."

While a third added: "What's supposed to have happened to her? So unrealistic. I'm out."
