Coronation Street and Emmerdale’s Christmas day episodes can be watched early on ITV Hub

Yes, you read that correctly.

Soap superpowers Emmerdale and Coronation Street are planning to drop their highly anticipated Christmas episodes early on ITV Hub so that viewers can catch all the action before they're scheduled to air on television.

Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day episodes of both soaps will be on ITV Hub from 7am ahead of their evening broadcasts. So, if you just cant wait to find out what goes down and would like a little more drama added to your Christmas morning joy you're in luck!

Sound too good to be true? It isn't! This is ITV's Christmas gift to all their viewers.

Soap fans will know that when it comes to Christmas, drama is a given on these two shows and that trend (thankfully!) isn't changing this year.

Viewers can expect plenty of dramas from their favourite ITV soaps including a time-hopping episode of Emmerdale and an emotionally charged instalment of Corrie.

In Emmerdale, the villagers wake up to what looks like a thin layer of snow, but all is not as it seems. As the flashbacks start, the story begins to come together.

You can catch the Emmerdale Christmas special at 7pm on ITV and Coronation Street's festive episode will be on at 8pm – also on ITV.

But why wait?! The Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and Boxing Day episodes will be available to watch online at 7am on their day of broadcast.
