Coronation Street fans were left fuming on Friday's episode after Tyrone Dobbs took a drunken swing and hurled insults at his ex Fiz Stape's new love interest Phill Whittaker.
Soap watchers were heartbroken when Fiz and Tyrone broke up earlier this year, with the mechanic going on to start a relationship with new girlfriend Alina Pop, who recently dropped the bombshell news that she’s pregnant.
And fans were left furious at "childish" Tyrone on Friday's episode as he took umbrage over Fiz moving on and her new love interest Phill.
Earlier this week, Tyrone was left shaken to see Fiz and Phill "hitting it off" on a date at Speed Daal where he entered to pick up a takeaway.
And on Friday, Tyrone refused to look after their girls so she could go on a second date with Phill and claimed he was taking out Alina for dinner instead.
Knowing that Fiz and Phill would be at the Bistro, Tyrone took Alina to the same venue where he watched their date "like a hawk", which left his own girlfriend annoyed.
After going home with a headache, Tyrone was left alone as he had to pay the bill but he couldn't resist making more snide remarks at Fiz's date with Phill.
However, things took an awkward turn when his card was declined and Phill offered to pay his bill which resulted in Tyrone taking a drunken swing, causing the newcomer to trip over.
Out on the street, Tyrone continued to hurt insults at the new couple while back at home Alina fumed at her boyfriend over his "obsession" with Fiz.
At the end of the episode, Alina confronted Tyrone over his behaviour, saying that he had to forget about Fiz or instead forget about her as she stormed off.
Viewers were left furious at "childish" Tyrone as they argued that he had no right to be angry at Fiz or her new date.
One person said: "Of course Tyrone crashes Fiz's date with Phill how childish is he? #Corrie."
A different fan put: "So Tyrone can go off and get Alina pregnant but Fiz has to stay alone? Yeah, that's fair #corrie."
Another follower commented: "Tyrone is making a right fool out of himself. He's got Alina now. He needs to leave Fiz alone! #Corrie #CoronationStreet."
While a different account added: "OMG think Tyrone is Jealous cause Fizz has found some one else #Corrie."
It was revealed earlier this month that the ITV soap had cast ex-Peaky Blinders star Jamie Kenna as Fiz's new love interest Phill.
Jamie is playing the role of Phill and his past acting credits include the likes of Peaky Blinders, as well as movies Green Street – where he played Big Marc, Children Of Men and Stormbreaker.
And this isn't the actor's first soap role as he previously played Vince Franks in EastEnders in 2007.
Jamie took to Instagram to share the exciting news earlier this month by posting a collection of photos of himself on the famous Corrie cobbles.
He wrote: "ANNOUNCEMENT!!!! I can finally….FINALLY tell you all my amazing news! As of 16th July I will be appearing regularly as Phil Whittaker in the national institution that is @coronationstreet.

It comes after Alan Halsall, who plays Tyrone, teased a reunion between his character and Fiz, admitting he’d “love” to see them back together in the future.
