IT looks like time might be running out for Esther and Mike as a shocking secret is uncovered in Coronation Street.
Hopeful parents Esther and Mike have been longing for a child and thought they were onto a winner when they came to an agreement with Summer Spellman over her unborn child.
However as Summer tragically lost the baby and was forced to tell the couple the truth, she was stunned to discover what the couple were planning for their next move.
After asking Summer to be their surrogate in a more official manner, Summer is thrown and shocked at the idea and it does not take long until all manner of secrets end up spilling out.
With the pressure mounting, Corrie viewers will see Summer and Aaron Sandford agree to take a break over the festive season.
However, Summer is still touched by the kindness that Esther and Mike have shown to her and as such agrees to meet with their solicitor about the surrogacy plans.

However, the teen is left stunned to discover Billy at the meeting too after Esther called him.
Summer is forced to talk to Billy prompting question as to whether he will stand by and support her.
As the situation continues to esculate, Summer ends up chatting with Aaron at Amy's party and they agree to give things another go and move forward with the surrogacy plans.
Billy, Paul and Todd are all left shocked when they realise Aaron is standing by Summer and committing to the life-changing decision as well.
