CORONATION Street fans are left baffled as David Platt's daughter Lily "disappears" from the soap.
ITV viewers noticed that the youngster had not made an appearance on theprogramme for a while.
Last week, David stuck his neck out for son Max by defending him against Daniel Osbourne's theft claims.
On Wednesday's episode, David stood at the bottom of the stairs and called for Max and his half-sister Lily to come down as it was time for school.
While Max appeared on screen, Lily didn't, leaving fans pondering on where David's daughter had gone.
One wrote: "Anyone else noticed that Lilly has disappeared or?"
Another joked: "She'll come back aged 16."
A third shared: "Lily…she's not there David."
Another quipped: "What David and Shona don’t know is that Lily is stuck in Narnia."
One fan hilariously penned : "Next week Lily will be played by Miriam Margolyes but David and Shona won't notice at all."
The character has been absent since April 2020, save for solitary appearances in May and December of the same year, due to restrictions imposed on child actors in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Last week, Daniel was reported to the police by David after he confronted Max over a stolen wallet.
But an incident at the corner shop saw Max trying to use a bank card which was declined, this left Dev suspicious and he later shared his concerns with Daniel.
As a result, David decides to drop the allegations against Daniel and covers up for Max.
But he is left wondering if he did the right thing, especially with his bad behaviour continuing.
To make matter worse, Max continues to defy his father, going out when he's been grounded.
David orders him home but is forced to conceal his rage in front of a passing Daniel – much to Max's amusement.
