After watching her boyfriend Seb Franklin (played Harry Visinoni) beaten and killed by Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) last year on Coronation Street, it’s unsurprising Nina (Mollie Gallagher) is worried about the safety of her girlfriend. Nina has opened up to Asha (Tanisha Gorey) about her fears she will be attacked or killed and the teen has tried to be understanding. However, in upcoming episodes of the ITV soap, Asha will be left worried by the lengths Nina is willing to go to in order to prevent her from coming to any harm.

Next week, Asha confides in brother Aadi (Adam Hussain) and his friend Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby) she wants to apply to Glasgow University.

However, she’s worried it’s too far from home and doesn’t want to leave Nina when she is still vulnerable.

Later, Asha admits she is having second thoughts about going to Glasgow and father Dev (Jimmi Harkishin) suspects it’s because of Nina.

When he goes to help Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) fix a leaky sink at his flat, he picks up a guide book for Glasgow.

He gives the prospectus to Asha but Nina spots it and puts on a brave face as she realises her girlfriend wants to move away.

Nina encourages Asha to go to Scotland and enjoy her day out. However things take a turn for the worse when she checks the weather report.

The Roys Rolls Cafe worker learns floods are expected and Nina shares her fears for Asha with uncle Roy Cropper (David Neilson).

Asha calls in at the cafe to say goodbye before heading to Glasgow but wanting to stop her from leaving, Nina pockets her phone.
