Coronation Street viewers were left wondering why no one had spotted Carla Barlow's evident change of behaviour after Stephen Reid spiked her drink.
Fans were in an inquisitive mood during Friday night's show (February 17) after Stephen underwent serious measures to tarnish Carla's name.
While offering her tea, Stephen put an unknown substance in her beverage which made Carla erratic and in a daze.
Trying to overcome her dizziness, Carla was insistent that she continued business as usual.
Despite her neighbours telling her not to, Carla drove the company van which she later crashed into Paul Foreman who was casually sitting on her husband Peter's bike.
But as her actions drastically changed fans were left confused that her close friends and family didn't notice the difference.
Taking to Twitter, fans shared their thoughts.
One social media user wrote: "And no one is suspicious as to why Carla is suddenly acting like this?"
Another penned: "So NOBODY wanted any blood tests, hospital, police, insurance? No? Even Carla not thinking to get herself checked out? These story lines are just pathetic now!!"
