Dancing on Ice stars’ eye-watering net worths – huge ITV salaries, to mega-deals

It’s one of the most watched TV shows on telly and Dancing On Ice bosses reportedly secured a substantial budget to attract high-profile stars to the show.

Welcoming skating champs Christopher Dean and Jayne Torvill to the panel alongside Diversity dancer Ashley Banjo and Champion dancer Oti Mabuse, ITV chiefs are dolling out some serious cash to land the star-studded panel.

TV faves Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield continue their reign as hosts for the series bagging an eye-watering salary for their telly talents.

Those famous faces taking part get handsomely rewarded for their time and we have the inside scoop on who gets what and how much their total worth is.

Holly Willoughby

Telly fave Holly Willoughby is worth an estimated £10 million. She began her career in showbiz at the age of 14 and earns £600,000 annually for hosting This Morning alongside pal Phillip Schofield.

Holly has also made significant earnings from other TV appearances and from brand deals with companies like Garnier, BHS, Diet Coke, Dunelm and Marks and Spencer.

At Oral B, her pearly whites are understood to have bagged her an £80,000 deal in 2012 and her stint on I'm a Celebrity as a stand-in for Ant McPartlin saw her return to the UK with £500,000 after raking in £23k a day for hosting with Declan Donnelly.

Despite a pay dispute with her former management company, Holly reportedly settled a deal in August 2022, which entitles them to 15% of her earnings from any contracts.

Phillip Schofield

Phillip Schofield has carved out quite a career for himself and is a regular face on our screens.

The well known host is reportedly worth £10 million from his successful career. He earns £600,000 annually for hosting This Morning and £45,000 per episode of Dancing on Ice.

Starting out as a clerk at his local BBC, Schofield began presenting in New Zealand before returning to the UK and joining CBBC as a continuity presenter.

In addition to hosting several TV shows, he has had success in musical theatre, performing in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat and Doctor Dolittle. Schofield is also the face of WeBuyAnyCar and is known for his impressive red wine collection.

Game show The Cube was launched in 2009 and Phillip has been the host since the beginning and the star has presented 5 Gold Rings, which was a new game show format for ITV since 2017.

Jane Torvill and Christopher Dean

Jayne Torvill, 63, and Christopher Dean, 62, have been ice skating for over 45 years and have amassed a significant net worth from their successful careers.

Jayne is worth £6 million, while Christopher is estimated to have a net worth of £5 million. The couple's wealth has been further boosted by numerous tours and their role on Dancing On Ice, which they first appeared on in 2006.

They rose to fame with their iconic Boléro dance, which they had been perfecting since their teenage years.

Although it took them several years to win their first gold medal, they eventually landed the coveted prize winning twelve 6.0 marks, the highest possible score, in the 1984 Olympics.

Their performance was watched by over 20 million people and became one of the most-watched television events in UK history.

Ashley Banjo

Street dancer Ashley Banjo rose to fame on Britain's Got Talent when he wowed the nation with his dance troupe, Diversity.

He went on to win the third series in 2009 alongside his brother Jordan and other close pals.

He has since become a regular fixture on television and is currently serving as a judge for the 2022 season of Dancing on Ice.

Ashley has amassed a considerable net worth since his reality TV debut.

As of 2021, Wealthygenius.com estimates his net worth to be just over £1 million. Ashley has since made numerous appearances on TV, including co-hosting BBC One's Saturday night show Can't Touch This with Zoë Ball in 2016.

In August 2020, he was selected to join the judging panel for the live semi-final and final shows of the 14th series of Britain's Got Talent following Simon Cowell's bike injury and subsequent recovery.

His exact salary for Dancing On Ice is not known, but reports confirms he judges will each land at least £200k for their appearance on the panel.

Oti Mabuse

Dancing Champion Oti Mabuse rose to fame as a dancer on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing snagging a reported £50k for her appearance on the hit show.

She went on to land more lucrative opportunities when she became a judge on The Greatest Dancer and Strictly Come Dancing, landing a significant salary of approximately £200k from these lucrative panel gigs.

It's estimated that Oti has amassed an impressive net worth of £5million from her successful career.

But the star has certainly earned evert penny of her fortune having carved out a very successful career as a dancer.

In 2014, she achieved a first-place finish at the German Championship PD Freestyle Latin and has won the South African Latin American Championship more than seven times.

Her sister, Motsi, is also a professional dancer who has worked as a judge on Strictly Come Dancing in Germany.

In August 2017, she and Ian Waite announced their 60-date UK tour for 2018 titled An Audience With.

She also participated as a contestant on an episode of Tipping Point: Lucky Stars in 2017.
