RuPaul’s Drag Race star Widow Von‘Du – real name Ray Fry – has been charged over claims they beat and throttled their boyfriend unconscious before allegedly bragging about ‘attacking some white boy’ on Instagram.
The 32-year-old was arrested in Kansas City on Monday May 31 on three counts of domestic assault and a fourth count of attempted domestic assault.
According to the probable cause affidavit, obtained by TMZ, the reality star is thought to have lashed out at their partner after coming home to find the victim sleeping in their apartment without permission on Friday May 28.
Fry’s boyfriend, however, insisted to police that he had told the drag performer he would be spending the night.
They were released on June 1 after posting $5,000 (£3,500) bail, placed under house arrest and banned from contacting their boyfriend or any related witnesses.
Fry will return to court for a bond review hearing on June 7.

According to the victim, Fry – who once claimed to weigh 290lbs – punched him in the face up to five times, strangled him and shoved him into the bed frame causing him to bleed out and pass out unconscious.
Eventually, the victim came around and was able to escape to a nearby hospital.
Fry denied some of the claims to police but is said to have later shared a now deleted video on Instagram, where they bragged: ‘Some white boy tried me and got his a** beat.’
Widow Von’Du finished in seventh place on the 12ths season of RuPaul’s Drag Race which was won by Jaida Essence Hall.
Fellow contestant Sherry Pie was disqualified from the same season for allegedly catfishing as a casting director to encourage young actors to perform sexual acts on camera.
