EastEnders cancelled tonight as BBC soap replaced in fresh schedule shake-up | The Sun

EASTENDERS has been rocked by a fresh schedule shake-up just a week before its epic Christmas Day episode.

In a blow to fans, the show has been cancelled TONIGHT and will not air in its usual 7:30pm timeslot.

The episode has also not been uploaded to BBC iPlayer either.

Fans will be forced to hang on until tomorrow in order to catch the latest Walford shenanigans.

The schedule move comes as the BBC broadcasts the Sports Personality of the Year live instead.

The annual event honours the phenomenal faces in the sporting world from across the year with many acclaimed athletes hoping to win a gong and the ultimate title.

A variety of faces have been in the frame to meet a grisly end including Ravi Gulati, Jack Branning and Dean Wicks.

However, a chilling clue in the latest episode has led many to speculate that Nish Panesar will die at the hands of wife Suki and Stacey in a joint effort.

In a telltale sign as to what might happen this Christmas, Stacey furiously said: "I just want to do whatever is going to hurt [Nish] the most."

It came as the pair discovered that Nish knew of Suki's secret affair and fans are now convinced murder is on their mind.

One wrote on X – formerly Twitter:  "Suki is plotting her revenge, NISH IS ABOUT TO GO BYE BYE."

The show left fans disappointed last night when they revealed an epic cufflinks twist that meant nearly every Walford resident had the chance to own a pair of the same cufflinks seen on the dead body this Christmas.
