After Netflix renewed Elite for a fifth season, the streaming platform announced two new cast members were joining the cast. According to Deadline, Argentinan actor Valentina Zenere (Soy Luna) and Brazilan actor André Lamoglia (Juacas) will star in Elite Season 5.

One prominent cast member won’t return for the fifth season
In Elite Season 4, Guzmán (played by Miguel Bernardeau) left Spain to travel the world with his best friend Ander (Arón Piper). But, will Guzmán and Ander return to Las Encinas? While Piper’s return remains unknown, Bernardeau won’t return to the series. In July 2021, the actor announced that he wouldn’t return for the fifth season.
In a Twitter video, he said, “Hey, this is Miguel Bernardeau, and for those who have already watched the finale of Elite Season 4, I wanted to say goodbye and send you a big hug. Thank you to Netflix for giving us this opportunity, to the creators, and above all to Guzmán for teaching me that no matter where you are, it’s never too late to change. Goodbye.”
What should fans expect from the ‘Elite’ Season 5?
While the plot for Elite Season 5 remains under wraps, it’s hard to predict the narrative. Some fans speculate the next installment will center around the events that happened in the Season 4 finale.
