A new Emmerdale romance could be on the cards for Chas Dingle and Al Chapman but is all as it seems?
Al has been working closely with Chas and Marlon Dingle to hopefully restore the failing Woolpack to its former glory.
But even though Marlon appears to be fairly reluctant to his Al's new ideas, Chas as cerrtainly been lapping it up which has made fans believe that romance may blossom between the pair.
But due to Chas and Al's history some believe it could be a set up.
Taking to Twitter, Emmerdale viewers aired their thoughts.
One fan penned: "Pls tell me Chas and Paddy are setting Al up."
Another said: "Sorry Chas falling for Al very unrealistic and out of character for Chas knowing what he did prior."
A third shared: "I really really hope Chas knows that Al is up to no good, and she is just stringing him along. I’ll be so disappointed if she has fallen for his slimy patter, I thought she was a lot smarter than that."
Meanwhile another confused fan wrote: "I really don’t get Chas’ behaviour towards Al – she didn’t trust him one jot before & now she’s his number one fan."
