Emmerdale double death horror sees Kyle fire trauma and Moira gun attack

Emmerdale spoilers have promised nail-biting scenes to come, with Mackenzie Boyd and Jamie Tate at war in the Yorkshire dales.

Their stubborn fight for victory takes a horrifying turn when two lives are thrown into danger, leaving the fate of young Kyle Winchester and businessman Greg hanging in the balance.

It all kicks off when Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) goes undercover, eavesdropping on a conversation between Jamie (Alexander Lincoln) and Kim Tate (Claire King) about a prospective client.

Mack cooks up a plan and arranges for an imposter to pretend to be “Greg" – the businessman the Tates were due to meet.

Jamie goes for dinner with the client, showing him their accounts and falling straight into Mack and Moira Dingle’s (Natalie J Robb) well-formed trap.

When Jamie and Kim realise they have been tricked, they’re outraged and set out on a revenge mission.

Storming the farm, Jamie starts throwing a bucket of petrol about, only for Mack to point out the liquid inside the vessel is nothing more than water.

Jamie is humiliated, and as Dawn Taylor (Olivia Bromley) tries to convince him to make peace with Mack and Moira, he suddenly spots a petrol canister.

Heading to the barn, he starts chucking the flammable liquid over the building, determined to spark a fiery inferno.

However, Jamie has no idea young Kyle is playing inside the wooden structure, at risk of becoming a victim of the bitter blaze.

Will Mack and Moira realise in time to save Kyle from the horrors of the fire?

In later scenes, seething mum Moira – hellbent on revenge – sneaks into Home Farm, determined to track Jamie down.

With a gun in her hands, she walks throughout the house and takes aim, positioning the weapon with a steely look in her eyes.

Businessman Greg, witnessing the terrifying scene, hurries away, hoping to escape Home Farm before Moira fires the bullet.

As Moira pulls the trigger, will she be left with blood on her hands?

Emmerdale airs on weekdays at 7pm on ITV, with an extra helping on Thursdays at 8pm.
