Aaron and Billy get into a fight on Emmerdale
Emmerdale fans are convinced Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins) will be the character to raise Gus’ (Alan McKenna) baby, despite Rhona Goskirk’s (Zoe Henry) biological connection to the youngster.
During Thursday’s episode of the ITV soap, Rhona found herself stalking Gus’ house and was stunned to witness him trying to escape with suitcases.
After confronting him, the village vet was left in turmoil when his heavily pregnant wife Lucy appeared before her holding her pregnant stomach.
Rhona confronted Lucy in the street about the pregnancy before she doubled over in pain and realised her waters had broken.
Rhona soon found herself driving Lucy to the hospital and hoped she and the unborn baby would be OK.

However, things took a heart-wrenching turn when Gus came out of Lucy’s hospital room sobbing later on in the episode.
Embracing Rhona, he tearfully revealed Lucy had died during childbirth which left Rhona in utter shock.
Back in the village, Rhona ended up confiding in her mother as she felt responsible for Lucy’s tragic death.
Fans took to Twitter following the emotional episode, with some certain Charity might be the villager to raise the newborn after suffering a heartbreaking miscarriage last year.
