Mackenzie Boyd first wandered into the village back in 2020 and since then he has been entertaining Emmerdale viewers with his antics.
The character – who is played by the actor Lawrence Robb – has been a big hit with fans of the much-loved ITV soap.
Off-screen, Lawrence is also popular, and he has amassed more than 26,000 followers on Instagram.

But while fans know all the ins and outs of Mackenzie's life, less is known about the Scottish actor.
Daily Star take a look behind the scenes at Lawrence's life when he is not hard at work on the serial drama.
Billie Piper link
Lawrence has been pursuing acting for a while but his first real small screen break came in 2020.
That year he bagged a role alongside Billie Piper in the TV show I Hate Suzie.
The actor played a character called Matt in the dark comedy-drama, which starred Doctor Who's Billie as a former teen pop star and actress.
Famous girlfriend
Lawrence does not say an awful lot about his private life but he is believed to be stepping out with Glaswegian actress Joanne Thomson, whose screen credits include Outlander, In Plain Sight and The Victim.
Both stars have shared snaps of each other on Instagram, including sweet ones of them snuggling up on the beach, taking a sailing trip in Croatia and spending the day at Disneyland.
Many fans responded with messages about what an adorable couple the TV stars make.
"You are such a gorgeous couple and, what's more, you look so happy together," said one follower, adding: "That's the stuff."
"You both have sickeningly good genetics," said another, while one admirer called the pair "beauties".
"Stop being so cute," teased another.
Talented singer
Acting isn't Lawrence’s only talent – he is also quite the singer.
The star apparently studied musical theatre in the past.
And he showed off his impressive vocals during an episode of the soap last year, when he started singing The Zuton's track, Valerie.
Fans loved getting a glimpse of another side of the star.
One tweeted: "Please can we have more Mackenzie singing scenes? He's got a decent set of pipes on him."
"Well who knew, Mackenzie actually doesn't have a bad singing voice," said another.
Lawrence has also shared clips of him singing on Instagram.
"Oh my you're very talented in music," said one fan, after the star posted a video of him crooning Stand By Me.
"You have to play that in the Woolly."
"Awww such a beautiful voice really touches my heart," gushed another.
