Just when Emmerdale fans thought the soap couldn't get any more dramatic, ITVspoilers have revealed even more twists and turns are in store.
In scenes airing next week, fans can expect to see a familiar face make an iconic comeback and also a newborn baby welcomed into the world.
The programme is set to launch an array of new storylines which are sure to leave viewers gobsmacked, including Faith Dingle's (Sally Dexter) return, Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) having her baby and a terrifying kidnap.
Viewers will have to wait until next week to watch the astounding events unfold, but ITV have shared some spoilers for those who can't wait to discover more.
Kidnapping Horror
In tense upcoming scenes, Nicola and Jimmy are being secretly watched by Juliette and soon she approaches Carl to go with her.
A worried Nicola then realises Carl is missing but he soon appears with Juliette who tells her she'll involve a solicitor if she's not given access.
Jimmy is determined not to let her break up his family and they agree to keep the situation a secret from Carl.
However, they both fail to spot Carl has a note from Juliette with her contact number.
The next morning, he has disappeared.
A panicked Jimmy phones the police, claiming Carl has been kidnapped.
PC Swirling arrives but soon they are all stunned to hear Angel confess Carl is with Juliette.
Soon, Juliette and Carl appear and fuming Jimmy wants Swirling to arrest her.
But Juliette's calm as she explains the situation and PC Swirling leaves, satisfied.

Fans will be stunned to hear Faith Dingle is finally making her comeback next week.
Moira is stunned to bump into Faith dressed in full mourner's garb as she leaves the hotel.
She wants answers from edgy Faith, who's clearly desperate to get away.
As Faith's companion (an undertaker) heads over, she runs to the hearse, steals it and speeds away.
When Moira gets home she sees a poorly concealed hearse parked up and asks Faith what's going on.
Faith explains but is clearly heartbroken and Moira feels sorry for her.
She says why she stayed away for so long and asks Moira if she thinks Cain could forgive her.
Cain reels when he returns from the hospital to find Faith.
She begs for forgiveness, but he's furious and tells her she disgusts him and to get out of the house.
Will Faith get to stay or will she be banished from the village?
Nate becomes dad as Tracy gives birth
Squeamish Nate sets himself gory tests to ready himself for being at the birth.
With Moira and Cain going for a night away, Tracy tells Nate they are looking after Kyle and Isaac for the night.
Cain drops off the kids' belongings and Nate is seemingly pleased to be trusted.
However, just as they're about to head out, Tracy suddenly doubles over in pain.
Tracy's in denial as she's convinced it's Braxton Hicks, but then her waters break.
Soon they arrive at the hospital and Tracy is taken off to the labour ward.
As her contractions continue, the midwife reassures Tracy everything’s progressing as it should.
Unsure how to help, Nate's overwhelmed and heads out finding Cain in the corridor.
Father and son have a heartwarming bonding conversation. Strengthened by his advice, Nate rushes back to Tracy for the final stages of her labour.
As she gives birth, he takes his daughter in his hands, bursting with pride.
