NETFLIX has enlisted two former Coronation Street and Emmerdale stars for a sexy new royal series.
Starring Corrie’s Amy James Kelly and ex Emmerdale hunk Max Parker, the drama documentary will explore the doomed marriage of Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII.
The Sun can exclusively reveal the first look at the groundbreaking new series Blood, Sex and Royalty with the stars.
A source revealed: “Everyone thinks of Henry VIII as a fat old man chomping down on chicken drumsticks and killing his wives but the early Henry couldn’t be more different.
“He was a ripped hunk and wanted by women from all over.
“And Anne is more than a cheating wife who had her head chopped off.”

The sexy drama is based entirely on historical fact and comes from the makers of The Last Czars.
It explores Anne Boleyn’s remarkable story from her own perspective in a modern and contemporary way.
The streaming giant promises to tell “the sexy, action-packed, high-stakes story of an extraordinary woman who rewrote the rules in every sense”.
Blood, Sex and Royalty will combine premium scripted drama with the insights of historians, as Anne is seen for the first time – not as the scheming temptress of previous histories– but as a daughter, mother, wife and most importantly, as a reformist whose radical and feminist views changed the course of history forever.
The insider added: “And of course there will be a lot of steamy scenes and skin on show.”
