Love Island's Andrew Le Page surprises Tasha Ghouri with 'beautiful' BSL tattoo

Love Island star Andrew Le Page left his girlfriend Tasha Ghouri speechless after getting a tattoo of her cochlear implant on his arm.

The finalists had quite the journey on this year’s season of the annual dating show, after briefly parting ways following the explosive Casa Amor recoupling and, before reuniting and placing fourth.

Since returning from the villa, the pair have been inseparable and recently moved into their own apartment in London.

The loved-up couple recently got matching rose tattoos, with the design placed on Tasha’s neck, while Andrew’s is on his hand.

However, the 27-year-old estate agent took a recent trip to the tattoo parlour alone… and for good reason.

Earlier today, Andrew teased via Instagram Stories that he was getting fresh ink, and hours later Tasha shared his design of the ‘I love you’ sign with her hearing device wrapped around it.

Taking to Twitter, the 24-year-old wrote: ‘So Andrew came home and surprised me with his new tattoo, I actually can’t even!!!!!!! How beautiful.

‘It’s “ily” in BSL with my cochlear implant wrapped around.’

Fellow islanders and fans marvelled at the wholesome design, with finalist Indiyah Polack writing: ‘Oh wowwww.’

‘Wow! That boy adores you Tasha. You’re very lucky,’ one person added.

‘I knew I was right to vote for you both this is so precious,’ another enthused.

In a Youtube video, Andrew revealed he ‘definitely’ wanted to learn BSL along with Tasha, who was the reality juggernaut’s first-ever deaf contestant.

He added: ‘It’s definitely something I definitely wanna learn. I know it means a lot to Tash and it would be a pretty cool skill to have.’

Tasha said she used to ‘use sign language fluent BSL until I was 5’ and was ‘slowly getting back into it.’

She explained: ‘I think we are going to go to a BSL course together.’

Describing the language as ‘beautiful’, Tasha added: ‘It’s a nice language to learn’ before Andrew said he was ‘really excited’ to start lessons.

Love Island is available to stream on ITV Hub.
