FIRST Dates viewers were left stunned after a woman brought a baffling item with her.
Monday's edition of the Channel 4 show saw 20-year-old dental nurse Saskia arrive at the restaurant looking glamorous in a black short dress and with her hair perfectly curled.
While most female diners turn up on their dates with a handbag or clutch bag, Saskia had brought something much larger along – a wheely case.
As she pulled it into the restaurant, maitre 'd Fred Sirieix looked surprised and said: "What have you got in your suitcase?"
Giggling, Saskia replied: "Lots of make up just in case."
Fred asked if she wasn't ready but Saskia replied she was, but as prepared for any touch ups that might be required later on.
Speaking to the camera, Saskia said: "Make up is very important to me.
"My absolute make up essential is highlighter, because it just makes you glow.
"I think it's that self esteem thing, having the confidence to go out and be yourself."
She then revealed what was in the case, including a large make up bag, perfume and dry shampoo.
Her date was 21-year-old magician, Luke, and the pair hit it off over dinner.
As they headed to the door, Fred brought out Saskia's suitcase and joked to Luke: "I'm just going to give you her suitcase, she's ready to move in!"
Viewers immediately took to Twitter to react to Saskia's baggage requirements, with one writing: "it is a bit epic the lass turned up with a suitcase."
Another added: "Who takes a suitcase on a date???"
A third tweeted: "As of she’s turned up with a suitcase full of makeup to a restaurant! #firstdates."
First Dates airs Mondays on Channel 4.
