Friends star Matt LeBlanc looks stony-faced as he's seen for the first time since the death of co-star Matthew Perry | The Sun

FRIENDS' Matt LeBlanc has been pictured for the first time since the tragic death of co-star Matthew Perry.

The 56-year-old television star looked stony-faced behind the wheel of his $141,000 black Mercedes G-Class.

The Joey Tribbiani actor wore a baseball cap and black sunglasses as he gripped the wheel with both hands.

Matt and his Friends co-stars Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow have kept a low profile since Matthew was found unresponsive in a hot tub at his LA home over the weekend.

They waited two days before releasing a joint statement addressing the tragedy.

It read: "We are all so utterly devastated by the loss of Matthew. We were more than just cast mates. We are a family.

"There is so much to say, but right now we’re going to take a moment to grieve and process this unfathomable loss."

"In time we will say more, as and when we are able," the statement continues. "For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."

Matt and Matthew played best friends and roommates Joey and Chandler over 10 series of the hit sitcom.

Their chemistry was undeniable, and fans loved watching the pair trade jokes and live a brotherly bachelor lifestyle before Chandler fell for Cox's character Monica Geller.

In the final season, the loved-up couple moved to the suburbs to start the next chapter of their lives, not before joking that they'd need space for Joey too.

Perry was found by his assistant at 4pm on Saturday.

A staffer made a frantic 911 call and referred to a drowning in the 15-second dispatch audio clip.

Cops confirmed the death was being investigated but no foul play is suspected.

Matthew had been candid about his struggles with drink and drugs, and health problems.

No narcotics were discovered at the scene, but authorities found anti-depressants, anti-anxiety drugs, and a drug for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.

On the morning of his death, Matthew had played racquet sport pickleball with a female friend, who revealed the star had felt unwell and “fatigued” for the past week.

Less than 24 hours earlier, he appeared to be on a date with a mystery woman in pictures first obtained by TMZ.

According to the news outlet, the photos were taken on Friday, October 27 around 2:30pm at Hotel Bel-Air in Los Angeles, California.
