Geordie Shore’s Sophie Kasaei ‘joining TOWIE in show crossover’ with boyfriend Jordan Brook

Former Geordie Shore star Sophie Kasaei is rumoured to be joining the cast of The Only Way Is Essex in the show's first "cross-over" episodes.

Show insiders are said to be looking at ways to increase viewing figures, with one suggestion being Sophie, 33, joining her boyfriend Jordan Brook on the Essex based scripted reality show.

Sophie and Jordan, 25, confirmed their relationship status in December, with Sophie sharing a compilation video that features Jordan and herself looking very cosy at various bars and venues.

Penning a sweet caption, she wrote: "Just when I was about to give up on love you came into my life and showed me what a true gent and real love is.

"Thank you for making me the happiest girl in the world. My forever JB, I love you. Merry Christmas."

Now, ITV bosses are said to be looking for ways to incorporate this relationship into a storyline on TOWIE, with a show insider telling the MailOnline: "Sophie has been on reality TV for over 12 years, she knows what makes a good show.

"Producers are really excited that she's joining TOWIE and hopes she will bring some of her fiery Geordie energy to the cast.

"TOWIE is still in talks about Sophie's potential involvement but she can't wait to officially sign on the dotted line and join boyfriend Jordan on the show."

The inside source suggests there could be some drama brewing between Sophie and her soon-to-be co-stars Chloe Brockett and Ella Rae Wise, both of whom previously dated Jordan.

OK! have contacted reps for Sophie and TOWIE for comment.

Sophie and Jordan first sparked rumours of a relationship after the loved-up pair were seen on dates at a number of London locations, including one at Selfridge's Alto by San Carlo and another at Shoreditch's Blue Kitchen.

A source told The Sun: "Sophie won’t just date anyone but she really hit it off with Jordan.

"They are trying to keep things under wraps, which show how much they want it to work."

Prior to embarking on her relationship with Jordan, Sophie had expressed that she was happy being single for the time being.

The reality star told OK!: "I thought last year was going to be my 'hot girl summer', because I love being single, but this has been my year.

"I go through phases where I’m like, 'Oh, I really want a boyfriend, I want to settle down, I want kids.' But then I’m like, 'Nah, I love being on my own!'"
