Hollyoaks legend Darren Osborne (Ashley Taylor Dawson) is left fighting for his life next week, after he’s injured during the re-opening of The Loft.
The nightclub has been closed all during lockdown, and next week Grace Black (Tamara wall) couldn’t be more excited about it’s re-launch.
She has Felix Westwood (Richard Blackwood) put up the new sign, but Fergus Collins (Robert Beck) has a plan to sabotage the big day.
Knowing that Grace does not have insurance, the gangster tells Timmy to keep watch while he loosens the bolts on the sign!
Darren, meanwhile, attempts to work out whether he wants to be with Nancy Osborne (Jessica Fox) or Mandy Richardson (Sarah Jayne Dunn), and before long, he makes his choice.
He instructs Mandy to meet him at The Loft.
Before he can speak, however, the loosened sign comes crashing down – and he’s left fighting for his life as a result.
Darren is taken to the hospital, and he’s in a coma, while Mandy and Nancy wait outside – desperate to know more about the love of their life’s condition.
Things become a tad awkward, however, when Mandy is allowed in to visit Darren, as she is technically still his next of kin.
Desperate to do something, Nancy decides to confront Grace.
Mandy, later, confronts Nancy and demands to know what exactly went on between she and Darren prior to the accident.
However, she has a shocking announcement of her own – one which comes as a huge blow to Nancy.
One to watch: Friday June 4 at 7pm on E4.
