Hollyoaks James’ sick plan exposed, double exit fears and Ste hostage horror

Hollyoaks bad boy' James Nightingale (Gregory Finnigan) gets caught stealing money from his late mother Marnie's vigil in upcoming scenes set to air next week.

The seedy solicitor continues to spiral after finding out what his mum left him in her will, and an argument with Donna-Marie Quinn (Lucy-Jo Hudson) leads to him getting uninvited from his mother’s vigil.

At the vigil, village residents gather to pay their respects to Marnie, but before Liberty Savage (Jessamy Stoddart) can perform a song, a drunken James crashes the event.

He’s soon stopped by Ste Hay (Kieron Richardson) but, wanting revenge for his mother, he frames Becky Quentin (Katie McGlynn) for stealing the vigil donation money.

Donna-Marie is horrified to discover that Marnie’s vigil money has been stolen, and its not long before Ste finds empty donation envelopes in James’ flat.

After managing to get the donation money back from James, Ste returns it to Donna-Marie.

To avoid her calling the police, Ste's forced to admit the truth behind the missing money and she tries to convince him to stick by James in his time of need, but will he follow her advice?

Evil Ethan Williams (Matthew James-Bailey) catches Ste before he heads to Marnie’s funeral and purposefully holds him at ransom so he misses the event, leaving James let down..

Ste has to push the boat out to get back into James’ good books after missing Marnie’s funeral and he surprises his partner by organising a second wake.

Elsewhere in the village, Cindy Cunningham (Steph Waring) makes a shocking discovery, and has to break the news to her family.

Worried she might get arrested for the stolen vigil money, Becky is all packed up and ready to leave the village, but Ollie Morgan (Gabriel Clark) doesn’t know if he can leave his dad Luke Morgan (Gary Lucy) behind.

Will the lovers flee Hollyoaks for good?

Also, The McQueens prepare for Sylver’s funeral.

John Paul (James Sutton) suggests having a drink with Goldie (Chelsee Healey) and Cher (Bethannie Hare) to liven things up, and they raise a glass to Sylver.

Later, John Paul opens up to Cher about how he can’t stop thinking about his evil ex PC George Kiss.

Its bad timing when Mercedes McQueen (Jennifer Metcalfe) finds a letter from Bobby’s (Jayden Fox) school, who report that he’s been acting out of character recently.

She finds thearpist Honour Chen-Williams (Vera Chok) and asks her to speak to Bobby, wanting a second opinion.

When Mercedes goes to speak to Bobby, she is shocked by his cruel words when he coldly claims that Sylver didn’t love her.

After speaking to Bobby, Honour gives Mercedes her verdict, and as she tells her that the ones who hide away are the ones we really need to worry about.

Honour tells Mercedes that she’s worried Bobby is struggling and thinks he might need professional help.

John Paul offers to take Bobby out whilst Mercedes goes to his school.

However, when he nips to the shops, Bobby wonders off and Mercedes is in panic mode when she realises he’s missing.
