Home and Away fans ‘work out’ who ‘won’t come home’ as bomb explodes in the Bay

Home and Away fans have been theorising which characters are in danger as a bomb is set to explode in Summer Bay.

Last week, Kirby (Angelina Thomson) received a package addressed to Marilyn (Emily Symons) from corrupt skincare company Stunning Organics, unaware that it was laced with explosives.

The box was originally placed in the kitchen in the diner before Leah (Ada Nicodemou) decided to take it back to the Morgan house to keep it out of Irene's (Lynee McGranger) way.

During Tuesday's instalment (August 1) of the Channel 5 soap, Marilyn arrived at the Morgan's to retrieve the box from Leah.

Elsewhere in the episode, a critically injured Justin (James Stewart) was being held at the compound after being shot through the leg with an arrow.

Coming to the rescue was Andrew (Joshua Hewson), who managed to find a key for the door and call police officer Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) for help.

The compound was then surrounded by armed cops and Margot (Mandy McElhinney), the leader of Vita Nova, was finally arrested for her crimes.

Ahead of the explosive week of episodes airing, the various promos stated that " the devastating blast will rock the Bay, and one person won’t come home."

Despite Margot seemingly being out of the picture, fans have speculated whether Andrew could somehow be the person who doesn't return to the Bay.

Sharing their theories, one fan wrote: "I reckon it might be Andrew, and/or his 'Mum'."

Another replied: "I agree. Andrew was my first thought."

But someone else had a different theory, suggesting no character will lose their life.

"It was a play on words to get people talking,” one viewer theorised. “Someone doesn’t come home could mean many things…"

Later in the week, Marilyn learns of the bomb and tells Mali (Kyle Shilling) who rushes to save two of his close friends.
