KEELEY Hawes is making a triumphant return to the BBC for new drama Crossfire.

The BBC One thriller tells the story of a woman on a family holiday whose life gets turned upside down when gunmen suddenly open fire.

How many episodes are in Crossfire?

Created and written by Louise Doughty, Crossfire is set in a luxurious resort in the Canary Islands.

The show will run for three, hour long episodes on BBC One.

When the series airs, it will run over three consecutive nights, so viewers won't have to wait long for the next instalment.

Filming got underway in Tenerife in November 2021.

Speaking back in 2021, before filming began, Keeley said: “I’m so excited to be embarking on this brilliantly compelling and propulsive drama for the BBC, especially as it’s the third production for Buddy Club.

"Filming has already begun and we’re delighted to be collaborating with the team at Dancing Ledge Productions and Louise Doughty on her first original production for television.”
