The return of I'm A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! had been hotly anticipated this year – and by the looks of it, the ITV series has undoubtedly delivered when it comes to entertaining the British public.
With the grand final that will see the King or Queen of the Castle crowned, we can't help but reminisce on some of the shocking moments that have occurred on this year's Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly fronted series.
Among the gruesome trials and terrifying critters, there have been a whole host of highs and lows, from the hosting duo's jibes at Prime Minister Boris Johnson to Richard Madeley's premature departure.
Join OK! as we reminisce on some of the most memorable moments from Gwrych castle this year.
HIGHS
Ant and Dec Vs Boris Johnson
Ant and Dec poking fun at Boris Johnson throughout the season made headline news.
They began innocently enough, as they first cheekily mocked Boris after he stumbled through a speech at the Confederation of British Industry before saying "forgive me" while attempting to find his place in his notes.
Later they addressed the allegations about a Christmas party held at Downing Street last year when London was under strict tier-three restrictions.
Speaking about the change of leader in Gwrych castle, Ant hilariously told viewers: "They weren't celebrating. They categorically weren't having a party. They categorically deny any accusations they had a party."
Ant added: "And this fictional party definitely didn't involve cheese and wine or a secret Santa."
The next day, they doubled down on Boris as they continued to address the leaked clip, which showed Boris' former political aide Allegra Stratton joking about the alleged bash.
Smuggling Contraband
Viewers were amused to learn that Naughty Boy was reprimanded after he smuggled in contraband spices on the first day.
The hit music producer lived up to his "naughty boy" name as he opened a small bag of spices as the stars prepared the first night's dinner.
However, the star was seen having his spices taken off him on the first day, dashing his dream of cooking up a storm in the castle.
Following the show's three day cancellation due to Storm Arwen, Ant and Dec hilariously revealed campmates had tried to smuggle in boiled sweets, apples and even fake tan back to the camp. Nice try!
Terrifying Trials
Plenty of stars didn't take too well to the horrifying Bucktucker Trials this year, which made for entertaining viewing material.
Kadeena Cox had viewers in hysterics as she claimed that a snake tried to "get into her vagina" after the Bed Chamber of Chills trial.
Elsewhere, Naughty Boy made television gold as he hilariously couldn't keep his mouth shut while wailing in panic during the Savage Stakeout, where he was surrounded by bugs, snakes, toads and rats.
Frankie's Confessions
Former Saturdays singer Frankie Bridge stunned viewers with a series of wide-ranging confessions.
She revealed she sprayed all her knickers with perfume ahead of the show, with reports later emerging that she begged bosses to let her wash her if knickers as they smelled like "fish guts".
Frankie also admitted to farting in her sleeping bag and later shared the cheeky gift she once gave her husband, Wayne Bridge.
The Loose Women star said: "I got Wayne a cast of my a**e. He used to say it as a joke. Back when he was playing football, what do you buy someone who has everything? He always used to be like, 'I just want a cast of your a**e…'
Storm Cancellations
The show was rocked by a three-day cancellation due to the trail of destruction left behind by Storm Arwen in Wales.
Production staff worked round the clock to ensure the site got back up and running, following significant damage to the TV set.
Gwrych castle was said to be left looking like a "war zone" in the aftermath of the Storm, with pictures showing substantial damage to the filming location.
The remaining celebrities were taken to the individual quarantine facilities where they could not be in contact with others and did not have access to their phones.
Despite the chaos and uncertainty, I'm A Celeb returned after three days off the air.
Naughty Boy Feuds
While it did make for entertaining television, Naughty Boy found himself at the centre of many disputes during his time on the series.
The music producer clashed with the likes of Frankie and David Ginola.
He also locked horns with Kadeena Cox over cooking duties while falling out with Adam Woodyatt over the camp's cleaning responsibilities.
When quizzed by Ant and Dec about his fall-outs, Naughty Boy insisted that he was never the "instigator".
Frankie's Unfair Advantage
Viewers fumed as they accused Ant and Dec of helping Frankie during her challenge as she was strapped in a cage while rotten food was poured over her.
The pair, who haven't assisted any other campmates this series, appeared to be aiding the singer as she attempted to answer a question about Cornish pasties.
"Did you say swede?" – to which the singer claimed that she had.
However, fans at home were convinced Frankie hadn't said the correct answer and blasted the hosting duo for helping.
Matty Lee's Screentime
Matty Lee fans were left disappointed as he was barely given any screen time this season.
As larger personalities such as Naughty Boy, Danny and Frankie were featured heavily, Matty was left mainly in the background.
However, he was involved in a Vegas-themed trial where he was covered in slime while attempting to catch a gold coin.
Richard Madeley's Shock Exit
Good Morning Britain host Richard was forced to quit the ITV competition show following a dash to the hospital.
While he was okay on the health front, he broke his restricted Covid bubble and was not allowed back on the show.
His premature departure from the latest series saddened many, with fans calling him to return the next year.
