All Creatures Great and Small is back on Channel 5 and the latest episode sees James Herriot (played by Nicholas Ralph) face pressure over the TB testing. The third outing features a whole host of famous faces as guests, including Jim Moir, better known as Vic Reeves. Express.co.uk has all you need to know about the actor’s relationship history off-screen.

Is Vic Reeves married?

All Creatures Great and Small fans were taken aback when they realised Vic had taken on the role of Jeff Mallock, who works at the local knacker’s yard in Darrowby.

The comedian, musician and actor is best known for his double act with Bob Mortimer.

He has taken on various TV roles over the years and makes his second appearance in the Channel 5 drama in episode four.

Fans have been wondering whether the star is married, and he has tied the knot twice in his lifetime.

He married his first wife, Sarah Vincent, in 1990 and they had children together.

They were together for nine years before divorcing in 1999, and he met his second wife two years later.

After meeting Nancy Sorrell in 2001, the couple married in January 2003 and Nancy gave birth to twin girls in 2006.

He is still married to Nancy and the couple live together in Charing, near Ashford.

Nancy, 48, is a model, actress and TV presenter who appeared in I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! alongside her husband.

The couple later appeared on a special edition of Celebrity Antiques Road Trip.

Away from her TV appearances, the singer has performed with various music artists such as Jeff Beck.

There may be a large age gap between the two, but Vic and his wife have said the age difference is irrelevant in the relationship.

Nancy said they had always hoped to renew their wedding vows, after their relationship with shot down by critics.

“They said it was never going to last and that it was only going to last two weeks.

“They would point out the age difference but it was irrelevant to us.

“At the beginning it was tough. We didn’t understand why people kept saying our relationship would end. But we just ignored it,” she told The Sun.

She added: “People we knew personally were fine about us but everyone else just thought our relationship wouldn’t work and that it was a joke.”

After the length of their romance, they have certainly proved anyone who doubted them wrong.

In June 2021 they renewed their vows and at the same time, they became grandparents to Angus, whose mum is Alice, Vic’s daughter from his first marriage.

They went on a second honeymoon to celebrate the life milestones, with Vic telling The Mirror at the time: “We’ll go somewhere near where we are or the Lake District as we like it there, we used to go every February half term.”

He said the secrets of a happy marriage are laughter, friendship and avoiding arguments at all costs.

All Creatures Great and Small airs on Channel 5 on Thursdays at 9pm.
