ITV Coronation Street spoilers – Heartbroken Daniel discovers Daisy’s affair

Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) hears that Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) might be leaving Coronation Street – but before he makes a decision, their secret is revealed.

Ryan tells Crystal Hyde (Erin Austen) about his latest job opportunity, but she is secretly hoping he’ll move to Glasgow with her.

He tells her that he is still going for the interview at the gym as he wants to keep his options open.

When Ryan blanks Daisy at the café, Crystal becomes suspicious and puts Daisy on the spot, asking if there is something going on between them. Daisy keeps her cool, but calls round to see Ryan and tells him that Crystal is asking questions.

What they are both unaware of is that Ryan has left a video camera rolling from when he was practising for his job interview. As they talk, Ryan confesses his love for Daisy and talks about the night they spent together – and it’s all caught on film.

When Simon Barlow (Alex Bain) returns home and sees the camera, he’s intrigued by what has been picked up and takes a look at the footage.

Soon, unsuspecting Daniel receives a message from Simon with a link. Daniel watches the video of Ryan and Daisy and is devastated to realise they’ve slept together. Later on, Daniel sneaks into Ryan’s flat, but what is he planning to do?

The Winter-Brown family are horrified when Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) is sentenced to three months in prison.

Gemma Winter-Brown (Dolly-Rose Campbell) is so furious that she lures Big Garth (Victor McGuire) to the street to try and find a way to get him to confess and Bernie released.

And there’s more trouble for Gemma when the social worker comes knocking and she sees Gemma handing Joseph Brown (William Flanagan) painkillers.

Meanwhile, Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) meets up with her mentor, Isla (Emily Dowson), who confesses she has a crush on her. And Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) becomes jealous when she sees Asha and Isla together at the Bistro giggling and holding hands.

Later on, Nina offers to help Asha out in the shop in a bid to spend time with her girlfriend. Their happiness is short-lived when Asha makes a worrying discovery on Nina’s phone.

Also, Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) witnesses a man mistreating his dog and argues with him. Roy Cropper (David Neilson) witnesses the incident and comes to Evelyn’s aid but he’s terrified when Terry Fensley (Jamie Foster), the dog’s owner, turns on him instead.

Eventually it’s Cassie Plummer (Claire Sweeney) and Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) who come to their rescue, and Terry is reported to the police.

The following day, Evelyn admits to Roy she couldn’t sleep worrying about the dog. But the incident isn’t over, and Evelyn sees Terry outside the charity shop.

Evelyn watches on as Terry heads off leaving his dog alone in the van.

Evelyn hears the dog whimpering in the back of the van and reaches a decision. How will Roy react when she returns with the dog in tow?
