The latest instalment of the highly successful Law and Order franchise, Organized Crime, will bring its first eight-part season to a close on NBC this Thursday night. However, a new trailer could have already teased a shocking fate for newcomer Sgt. Ayanna Bell (played by Danielle Moné Truitt).
Elliot Stabler’s (Christopher Meloni) new partner could be in trouble in the upcoming conclusion of Law and Order: Organized Crime season one.
A recent teaser trailer has teased this week’s conclusion, ‘Forget It, Jake; It’s Chinatown’, which will deal with the fallout of their last run-in with notorious businessman Richard Wheatley (Dylan McDermott).
Currently the prime suspect in the murder of Stabler’s wife, Wheatley seemed to threaten to go after his old partner, Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay).
In the finale, Wheatley is standing trial and facing a number of serious charges, but that won’t stop him from making another lethal move against the team.
The new promo has already promised viewers there’ll be surprises at every turn in the upcoming final episode of the spin-off’s thrilling first season.
Moreover, a couple of intense shots from the brief footage could have disastrous implications for Stabler and his new partner.
In the run-up to the finale, most fans agree Wheatley will be making a beeline to take down Olivia after uncovering Benson and Stabler’s feelings for one another.
One viewer commented on the new trailer: “I think Wheatley is going after Liv.”
“She may even get shot/hurt but they won’t kill her, it’s Liv, the heart and soul of SVU.”
Olivia Benson, along with Elliot Stabler, were initially introduced as the two co-leads of Law and Order’s first spin-off, Special Victims Unit.
However, as the former series is also still ongoing, Benson’s departure would likely bring the whole franchise to a shuddering halt.
Instead, the latest trailer could be offering a glimpse of Ayanna Bell’s unexpected twist death to cap off Organized Crime’s riveting first outing.

Bell seems to be taking part in a tense shoot-out during one portion of the new trailer.
Her action-packed sneak peek is then immediately followed by a distraught-looking Stabler in what appears to be a hospital corridor.
This concerning moment has a number of fans nervous that someone could be injured or even killed in the heart-stopping climax on Thursday.
As Sgt. Bell seems to be taking to the frontlines in Law and Order’s next episode, fans are hoping they won’t have to say goodbye to one of their favourite characters after just one season.
Alternatively, others have tipped SVU detective Amanda Rollins (Kelli Giddish) to make an appearance in Organized Crime’s crossover finale.
One fan speculated: “If you read the previews for SVU it is going to be about human trafficking and it sounds like Rollins and Benson are going to get caught up in a bad situation.
“So several possibilities: Benson gets shot and taken to hospital or I have read speculation that Kelli Giddish is leaving the show so she may be killed.”
As multiple storylines collide in the upcoming conclusion, the show’s legion of viewers are bracing themselves for the worst possible outcome.
Law and Order: Organized Crime concludes Thursday, June 3 on NBC.
