Louise Redknapp's sons want her to meet someone and re-marry 'so she can be happy like their dad Jamie'

LOUISE Redknapp's sons want her to get married again after their dad and her ex, Jamie found happiness with Swedish model, Frida Andersson.

The 47-year-old has faced speculation about her feelings after her ex-husband, former footballer Jamie, 48, tied the knot with his pregnant partner Frida, 38, in an intimate ceremony in London last month.

Louise and Jamie split in 2017 after 19 years of marriage, while he welcomed a son, baby Raphael Anders, with Frida this week.

While Jamie has moved on, Louise has remained single – although, she says their two sons, Charley, 17, and Beau, 13, are encouraging her to get back out there.

A source revealed her teens want her to find a new man so she could be 'happy' like their dad was.

"They want to see her happy because they can see how happy remarrying has made their dad," the source told OK.

“Now they want their mum to find someone.”

But Louise has remained adamant that she is doing fine on her own.

"I am really grateful that I’m surrounded by amazing friends. The most important thing is that they’re with you through good and bad," she told The Sun.

"Everyone’s got good and bad times in their lives and you want people by your side through it all. I don’t want fair-weather friends.”

The singer also revealed her kids were pushing her to get back into the dating scene.

“Oh yeah, they always say: ‘When are you going to [date]?’ Dating just takes time. I do eight shows in five days [Louise is currently in 9 To 5: The Musical] and on my days off, going out and having a social life is not my priority. It’s being a mum and stocking up the fridge. All my boys care about is me being happy – whatever that is," Louise said.

“It sounds basic, but I’ve got two things that are really important to me right now: my kids, because I want to be a solid part of their life, and my work. Right now, that’s enough for me, I’m not saying forever. I’m learning to just be OK with myself. I’m not loving myself, but I’ve been OK. I’m getting there.”

Jamie announced his new wife Frida delivered a healthy baby boy – five weeks after their secret wedding.

In a sweet message to fans online, Frida also revealed the newborn's sweet nickname.

She wrote: "Our Viking has arrived. Feeling beyond blessed to have welcomed this precious little boy, Raphael Anders Redknapp,to our family.

"A big thank you to all the wonderful doctors and nurses at Chelsea Westminister Hospital."

Frida, 38, has lived in London since her modelling career took off, and has posed for top brands such as Escada.

The doting mum has three sons and a daughter from her former marriage to American hedge fund manager Jonathan Lourie.

Cosied up to his sleeping newborn, Jamie told fans today: "Meet Raphael Anders Redknapp.

"We’re so In love, mum is doing so well too.

"We can’t thank the amazing doctors and nurses at the Chelsea and Westminster enough.

"So excited for him to meet my boys."
