Love Island star Faye Winter has shared her regret over her explosive row with Teddy Soares.
The pair have officially gone their separate ways thanks to a clip from the Islanders’ movie night last week, which saw Teddy tell Clarisse Juliette he was sexually attracted to her in Casa Amor.
Despite not acting on it, and staying loyal throughout, Faye was left devastated by the scenes and took her anger out on her co-star in a vicious rant – scenes which drew complaints from those watching from home.
In an unseen clip shown on last night’s episode of Love Island Aftersun, filmed after the tense beach party, she was seen telling Millie Court and Chloe Burrows that there is ‘no excuse’ for her actions.
‘I feel bad, I feel s**t that I blew up the way I did. I am sorry for what I done, there is no excuse for it, there is no excuse for the way I just flew out off the handle,’ she confessed.
‘But I just want to move forward with it. If anything, it’s made me realise what I want.
‘Yesterday was like… well it makes you realise that if he was stood there and he went home, I would literally have been like that’s okay, because I’m off too.’
Millie suggested that she should offer Teddy a ‘genuine apology’ for the outburst, but that she also needed one in return.
Their conversation comes after she decided to break things off with her former beau, branding him ‘unfair’ for the way their romance had taken a turn.
She called him out for not telling her that he was briefly attracted to Clarisse, which came out on the big screen in front of their co-stars.
‘It’s s**t because I came in here and I thought that I found what I was looking for in you and then that happened,’ Faye said in last night’s episode.
‘You’re being really unfair, you’re being so unfair. I knew nothing of what happened in Casa Amor.
‘I honestly thought you were an angel over there and it turns out that’s not the case. I don’t trust people until they prove to me I can trust them.’
Teddy admitted he was ‘struggling’ coming to terms with their relationship being ‘done’, to which she replied that she wanted to stay in the villa solo.
‘I’d rather be done than be hurt. Right now I just want to continue this journey on my own,’ she added.
Love Island continues daily, at 9pm, on ITV2.
