Love Island fans were left bemused as Millie Court made an awkward history blunder on Monday 16 August's episode.
Millie, 24, and her partner Liam Reardon were voted the smartest couple earlier in the week.
Essex girl Millie made the slip up as she discussed Faye Winter's potential reaction if she discovers Millie and Liam nominated her and Teddy Soares as one of the least compatible couples.
Speaking in the Beach Hut, Millie said: "If Faye finds out that I have voted for her, it is gonna be World War II, there's no doubt about that."

Viewers soon picked up on Millie's blunder, as she appeared to forget that World War II ever happened, on Twitter.
One asked: "Lool, can someone tell Millie World War 2 has already happened? #LoveIsland".
Another added: "Millie babe I love you but world war 2 already happened #LoveIsland".
While a third pleaded: "Please tell me Millie didn't just forget world war two already happened #LoveIsland".
And a third pointed out: "How did millie and Liam get voted most intelligent [crying emoji] this girl said world war 2 #loveisland".
Meanwhile, another added: "millie babe it would be world war 3 not 2 .. #loveisland #loveisland2021".
Millie's slip up came as she discussed her and 21 year old Liam's decision to nominate Teddy and Faye, both 26, as one of the least compatible pairings.
Speaking to beau Liam in the plush villa garden, Millie said: "We had to make a decision and we solely based it on a conversation that I've had with Faye and the girls about it." Liam added: "She said they're not compatible."

"Yeah," Millie agreed. "She's actually said it, no one else has said that."
Liam replied: "That's why she can't take offence to it, but Faye being Faye she may take offence to it. And by the looks of it she will take offence to it."
"She will," Millie said. "I feel like she senses it. I feel like she's trying to get it out of me or she feels like she knows."
And Liam later added that he will happily back up his and Millie's vote as he said: "No one has the right to be annoyed if they get chosen. You have no reason to be worried and she has no right to make you worried. I'll back our reasons until the end."
