Love Island Tanyel’s pal appears to slam Olivia and Shaq as ‘fake’ in rant

The best friend of Winter Love Island star Tanyel Revan appears to have slammed Olivia Hawkins and Shaq Muhammad in a furious online rant.

Tanyel became the latest islander to leave the popular ITV2 reality dating series on Thursday (February 9, 2023), after she was left single in a shock twist during the latest recoupling.

Bombshell Jordan Odofin was left to pick between her and fellow bombshell Ellie Spence, with Tanyel subsequently being sent home from the villa.

However reacting to news of her departure, Tanyel's pal took to social media and claimed in a furious rant that Tanyel was "set up" by her fellow islanders.

The video, which was shared and re-posted to social media platforms including Twitter and TikTok, could be heard saying in the video that "there ain't no way I'm watching this show any more."

"I'm done with Love Island because although Tanya was ready to leave, Tanya, Shaq and Olivia… you f**king set her up to go.

"I don't care what anyone says, they are so f**king fake and jealous and actually quite obsessed."

She continued to slam Olivia as she added: "Olivia, you need to get Tanyel tattooed on your body mate because it's actually getting a bit weird."

Tanyel's best friend continued to hit out at the islanders, as she said: "I've been seeing her ways, that slyness to Tan and finally everyone is starting to see it.

"She is fake as f**k and I can't wait for the day that she gets caught out. Tanya and Shaq, who gave these men their high horse?

"I am done with it and I can't wait until they get caught out."

Following Tanyel's departure, the latest recoupling saw Ron and Lana reuniting while Will Young chose Jessie Wynter.

Tom Clare coupled with Samie Elishi, while Shaq Muhammad chose to stay with Tanya Manhenga, who he has been coupled with since day one.

Meanwhile, Casey O'Gorman coupled with the villa's newest arrival Claudia Fogarty, while Kai Fagan chose Olivia Hawkins.
