Nineties girl band legend Cleopatra unrecognisable as she reunites with Peter Andre 25 years after hit | The Sun

GIRL band legend Cleopatra looked almost unrecognisable as she rehearsed with Peter Andre yesterday.

The pair are set to appear together in Symphonic Jackson at The London Palladium this weekend, with Peter taking the helm singing some of Michael Jackson’s most iconic hits.

Cleopatra Higgins, better known as Cleo, is best known for being part of the girl band Cleopatra with her sisters  Yonah and Zainam.

In her latest video, Cleo – who is still a successful singer – looks a far cry from the youngster who rose to fame in the 90s.

The singer told her fans: “#symphonicjackson @thelondonpalladium MAY 13th 2023!

“As mentioned by the lovely @peterandre on @loosewomen @itv I have the honour to perform along side him, @natphilharmonic and star guests of the @westendlive theatre scene.

At the start of their career, the group was originally called Cleopatra and the Attractions, with Cleo as the lead singer.

Their debut single Cleopatra's Theme landed in at number three on the charts and their next three singles, from their famously named album Comin' Atcha!, reached the top five.

This led them on to perform at the BRIT Awards in 1999 and receive nominations for a BRIT and MOBO Award.

Despite also finding success in the US, the band were dropped by their record label just before they were about to release their second album Steppin' Out in 2000.
