Strictly Come Dancing release trailer for new series
Strictly Come Dancing star Nadiya Bychkova has reportedly been left “seething” after not being given a partner to dance with.
The professional has been part of the BBC show since 2017 and has danced with a range of male celebrities such as Dan Walker, Lee Ryan and Matt Goss.
However, for this series, it’s believed the 34-year-old will be part of the larger wider dance troupe instead of being matched with a contestant.
With fans being left outraged over the snub, it’s reported BBC bosses have hit back and stated there are many factors that come into play when giving a professional a celebrity partner.
According to sources, when the professionals met the line-up, there wasn’t any chemistry between Nadia and the male stars.

They told the Mail: “Nadiya was very surprised when she learned she would merely be part of the wider dance troupe.
“She felt like she had done well since she joined the show, so it was a shock.
“She wanted answers so she held several meetings with the bosses so she could get some answers. She is accepting it now.”
However, other sources have claimed it came down to Nadiya’s height with the male contestants not being tall enough to be matched with her.

Although there was one celebrity who would have been tall enough to dance with the pro, the large age gap between them didn’t sit right with bosses.
Speaking to The Sun, an insider added: “The only person she could have been paired with is Bobby [Brazier].
“But, bosses felt there was something odd about the fact that the particularly fresh-faced Bobby only turned 20 this summer, while Nadiya is a mature woman.”
Express have contacted the BBC for comment.
With rumours circulating that Nadiya will be on the sidelines this year, her former partner Dan Walker rushed to slam the BBC’s decision.
Taking to Twitter earlier this week, he wrote: “Looking forward to the new series of Strictly.
“All the pros are great but gutted that @NadiyaBychkova hasn’t got a partner. I’m sure she’s still looking forward to being part of the biggest show on TV but it feels a bit like putting Messi on the bench for the World Cup final!”
