MICHELLE Fowler made an epic return to EastEnders back in 2017, hot on the heels of her son, Mark Fowler Jr.
The lad is a result of a one-night stand between his mum and Grant Mitchell, who also returned to Walford back in 2016.
However, Michelle's comeback was short-lived, with bosses cutting the character just 14 months after her return.
The first time around, Michelle was played by actress Susan Tully, who left Albert Square in 1995 after 10 years to move to Alabama, USA, after discovering she was pregnant with her best friend Sharon's ex-hubby.
When she first appeared on our screens at the tender age of 16, the former Grange Hill star sported a voluminous mane of brunette waves.
Now, 21 years later, Tully looks almost unrecognisable.
Sporting a short, blonde pixie cut, the 48-year-old has also stepped away from the limelight, swapping acting for directing.
It's been a successful move, as Tully has a series of impressive credits to her name including Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Silent Witness, Stella and recent BBC drama The A Word.
She isn't the only former soap star to have a career shake-up either. Toby Cockerell, who shot to fame as Scott Windsor on Emmerdale, has also had a big career shake-up, working as a product manager at his wife's company, Zoe Rene Limited.
