STRICTLY Come Dancing fans are in shock as the first eliminated dancer of the series leaked online last night.

Every year, the identity of the celebrity who gets the boot is revealed on social media hours in advance as the Sunday night results show is pre-recorded on Saturday evening.


And viewers of the hit BBC show who couldn't wait flocked to learn the identity of the unlucky dancer who was first to get the boot – and they were surprised by what they saw.

While The Sun will not spoil the identity of the contestant who was sent packing last night, it's clear from twitter that the outcome divided fans.

"Not surprised at the bottom two but surprised at who the judges picked," one tweeted.

A second wrote: "I don’t think the right people were in the dance off or eliminated but there’s not much in it, later eliminations will be more controversial."

Adding to the frenzied reaction online was the fact that there were several false spoilers leaking the wrong information.

Four different twitter accounts claimed to know the all-important results, and there were different combinations of the bottom two circulating online.

This caused panic among the rabid fanbase before the official spoiler account confirmed the accurate result.

One observer commented: "Don’t know what is funnier the many different spoilers or the spoiler accounts b***hing at each other."

Topping the leaderboard last night was Molly Rainford and Carlos Gu,who scored an impressive 34 points out of 40 with their Quickstep performance.

The duo closed the show with their performance set to Beyonce's Love On Top.

Matt Goss, Kaye Adams and Tony Adams were the lowest scorers of the night, each bagging 22 points.
