Strictly’s Motsi Mabuse kisses Shirley Ballas
Shirley Ballas found herself unexpectedly on the receiving end of a kiss on tonight’s Strictly Come Dancing.
The incident happened as the judges made their entrance having been introduced by presenters Claudia Winkleman and Tess Daly.
Shirley and Motsi Mabuse met in front of the panel before they went to take their seats for the night.
However as the others smiled and posed for the camera, Motsi shimmied across the floor and lunged at Shirley embracing her for a smooch.
Craig Revel Horwood and Anton Du Beke looked stunned as Shirley laughed hysterically having been initially shocked.

The pair said something to one another and then welcomed the contestants for the week. Pleased with the reaction, Motsi burst out laughing as the pair then smiled at the camera.
The kiss appeared to have been planned as it was perfectly in time with the sound of the Strictly theme tune.
Both women looked extremely glamourous tonight, Shirley opted for a pale pink sequinned minidress with a matching cape. She wore her hair in a loosely waved choppy bob with balayage highlights and her makeup was glowing.
Meanwhile, Motsi’s black and white mini dress was a real showstopperwith its bell-style skirt and flute sleeves, which she teamed with towering platform shoes.
Fans were loving their looks on social media, unlike the presenters’ outfits which divided opinion.

Tess donned a bright blue velvet suit for the occasion, which featured pieces of loose material hanging around her shoulders and a shiny blue shirt. Meanwhile, her co-host Claudia dazzled in a baby pink sequined blazer and matching trousers.
The frolics at the beginning of the show didn’t continue for long and Shirley was soon on the receiving end of booing from the studio audience over her feedback about Nigel Harman and Katya Jones’ energetic performance.
“Graceful arms and a lovely connection together, I really like that. But the basic foot action in this dance is much flatter than all the other dances and they actually say, fly flat when it comes to the Viennese Waltz.” She said there were “too many technical errors” adding: “You do your reverse, you’re not crossing…”
The audience began to boo and Shirley instantly shut them down, telling them: “You might learn something, so hold on a minute.”
Strictly Come Dancing results show is in BBC One at 7.15pm on Sunday October 1.
