ANNE Hegerty was left blushing after host Bradley Walsh made a crude joke about the female genitalia on Tuesday's episode of The Chase.

Contestants giggled as a red-faced Anne struggled not to react to Bradley's X-rated quip, with the host struggling to keep it together.

In the second round, player Nick was asked: "The breakfast food known in Scotland as 'tattie scones ' go by what name in Ireland?"

He was then presented with the options, "Fadge", "Menge", and "Clonge" – but Brad could barely contain himself.

As those in the studio broke out laughing, Anne simply blinked and gave a disapproving look.

"That's what you want for breakfast – a touch of fadge," joked Brad, as the audience erupted into a fit of laughter once again.

Viewers also shared Bradley's X-rated humour on Tuesday's show, with many taking to Twitter to share their amusement.

Alongside an emoji of a laughing face, one person exclaimed: "This is a family show! How on earth do I explain this to my child?"

Echoing their comments, someone else said: "My child has just asked me what fadge, menge and clonge mean. Cheers, Brad!"

While a third added: "What a question that was! Bradley held that together very, very well."

Bradley also had viewers in stitches last week after the 61-year-old looked "unusually orange" while hosting the show.

During the entirety of the episode, the 61-year-old was mocked by fans on social media for sporting an "over the top" tan.

Noticing his plush look, a viewer tweeted: "Bradley's gone way over the top with the fake tan stuff. He looks hilariously orange."
