The Chase host Bradley Walsh left red-faced after a player rocked up to the ITV studios wearing a cheeky outfit inspired by the show.

The hit ITV gameshow was back on TV screens on Friday (July 21) as the telly legend welcomed four new quizzers onto the show.

As fans tuned in for the primetime programme, the former Corrie star introduced contestants Tom, Anna, Eveline and Paul before they battled it out to take home the all-important cash prize.

This week the quartet were up against The Beast who made sure to bring his A-game against the wise quizzers.

But it’s safe to say it was Eveline who stole the show when it was her turn to try and bag some serious cash.

Standing opposite Brad, the retired teacher rocked a bright red t-shirt that include printed outlines of The Chase stars, as well as the words “Chase me” emblazoned across the front.

“I’ve got to say I love that T-shirt,” Bradley said.

She then replied: “Have you seen the back?” before turning around to reveal even more of a tribute to the show – particularly Brad.

The host of the long-running game show looked stunned as she showed off him the back of her t-shirt – which included a printed outline of Bradley’s hair – along with the words “Team Brad.”

Bradley quipped: “Oh look at that, don’t get better than that!”

It's fair to say Eveline was on fire in her cash-builder round, bagging £6,000.

For the high offer, The Beast offered a whopping £46,000, and for the low he slapped down a mere £1,000.

After nearly going for the 46 grand, she played it safe and stuck with £6,000.

The move paid off – as she managed to get back with the money and bag a place in the final alongside Tom and his winnings.

Up next was Paul – who scored £5,000 in his cash-builder.

But when The Beast offered him a huge £65,000 – he went with that option.

It was Paul's lucky day as he managed to beat The Beast – making the total to play an eye-popping £75,000.

When it came to the final chase though, the team managed to get 18 points correct.

But Mark was beaten as he ran out of time when it was his turn – meaning the three players were walking away with 25 grand each.
