This Morning host Phillip Schofield couldn't help laughing at Piers Morgan as he shared a joke about his Good Morning Britain on-screen walk-off.

Piers, 56, walked off the ITV show earlier this year after an argument with Alex Beresford, 41, about Meghan Markle, 40.

And as Phil, 59, read out some Christmas-themed jokes, he couldn't help having a dig at his former ITV colleague.

He read out: "What's Piers Morgan's favourite Christmas song?"

And before anyone could think of a comeback, he sang: "He's walking off on air," in the tune of the famous Snowman song.

Piers got up from his seat at the GMB table in March after clashing with Alex Beresford after saying he didn't believe Meghan Markle's claims during her Oprah Winfrey interview.

Weather presenter Alex labelled Piers "pathetic" and "diabolical", and Piers later quit Good Morning Britain as he was not prepared to apologise for his comments.
