This Morning star Alison Hammond was caught in an awkward blunder as he co-star revealed she had been snubbed from the National Television Awards.
During Tuesday's instalment (September) of the ITV daytime programme, Kate Lawler was sharing the show's competition details live from the O2 Arena, ahead of tonight's NTAs.
Alison, 48, who has been nominated for Best Presenter, will be attending the awards alongside co-host Holly Willoughby and was in high spirts as she discussed the upcoming ceremony.
As the 43-year-old handed back to the duo, Alison asked: "Are we seeing you later? Are you going to be there as well Kate? Please say you are?"
Shaking her head, the blonde beauty responded: "No, babes. We've had this conversation already, I didn't get an invite."
"Ruined, ruined. Fuming," Alison could be heard saying in the background.
Kate continued: "I'll be watching at home on the telly with a bucket of popcorn. Ruined."
"Absolutely devastated," the TV personality added.
The former Big Brother star proceeded to invite Kate anyway, telling her she could arrive as her plus one.
