Following the announcement Zack Morris will soon leave his role as Keegan Baker in EastEnders, new pictures have been released that show the moment Tiffany Butcher (Maisie Smith) returns to see him.
Keegan’s departure from Walford will occur during the aftermath of Gray Atkins’ (Toby-Alexander Smith) downfall week.
With the truth set to be revealed, the Taylor family will discover Gray was responsible for murdering and abusing Chantelle – Keegan’s sister.
As the Walford residents reel from a dramatic week, Keegan is spiralling out of control, blaming himself for everything Gray did to his sister.
Fortunately, Tiff is called back to Albert Square to support him, but will Keegan listen to her, given how things were left between them?
In case you need reminding, Tiffany left Walford to move to Germany with brother Liam (Alfie Deegan).
In the lead up to her final scenes, there was a brief moment where it looked like Tiff and Keegan were going to get back together, but thanks to Liam’s involvement, they were both left heartbroken.
But with Liam gone, will things be different?
With Keegan’s exit looming, is there a happy ending on the way as he departs for a new life with Tiffany?
Discussing his exit from EastEnders, Zack said: ‘After five beautiful years on this incredible show, I have made the tough decision to leave Walford and give Keegan Butcher-Baker some well-earned rest. This show has quite frankly changed my life for the better.’
This week, Zack revealed he had landed himself a new job, just 10 days after leaving his role as Keegan.
Announcing the news on his Twitter, Zack said: ‘On route to the airport to start a new job just 10 days after leaving one. This really is the stuff of dreams. I never in a million years expected this to happen! The hard work and overtime is really starting to pay off!’
