NETFLIX’S hit docuseries Tiger King is returning for its second season.
With Joe Exotic currently in prison, and Carole Baskin suing Netflix, who will star in the new series. Find out here.
Who stars in Tiger King 2?
Joe exotic
Joe Exotic will not appear in Tiger King 2.
This is because he is currently serving a 22-year-long prison sentence.
Although he physically won't be seen present in the series, there will be voice recordings of him.
Speaking on Good Morning Britain in August 2020, Exotic's ex-husband Dillon Passage teased Exotic would feature in the second series, despite being behind bars.
He said: "I do not know the release date but it's going to be very interesting because it will tell a little bit of Joe's arrest and afterward."
"I know there's going to be some phone call recordings of Joe that is going to be in it. There is no filming since he's incarcerated."
Jeff Lowe
The Tiger King two trailer hints that Jeff Lowe will be the protagonist for the new series.
Jess Lowe was the second and final owner of the G.W Zoo, which is a central figure for the new series.
However, since Tiger King ended, Big Cat Rescue founder Carole Baskin, legally became its owner.
Since the trailer has been released, Jeff has alleged that Netflix has ‘fabricated a scene’ in the recent trailer for the upcoming second season.
Lowe claimed that Netflix used an impersonator in the teaser, which he alludes has been dubbed over a video of him speaking.
‘Netflix is already up to their old tricks,’ a statement on his Instagram page, which he shares with his wife Lauren, read.
In the dramatic two-minute trailer, Lowe is seen gloating that he has ‘more money than God’ before flashing a bedazzled Tiger King chain.
Tim Stark
In June 2020, he lost his licence after officials said he left animals without adequate care, food or water.
Timothy Stark lost his licence in June 2020 after officials said he left animals without adequate care, food or water.
He is no longer allowed to own any exotic or native animals and must return funds he misappropriated from his nonprofit according to an April 6 ruling from the Marion County Superior Court.
The 'Wildlife In Need' founder will be seen talking about law enforcement actions against him in the upcoming season of Tiger King.
Allen Glover
One of the main players in the wild tale is Allen Glover, the man who claims that Joe Exotic approached him as part of a murder-for-hire plot.
Allen was the handyman at GW Zoo, but was also a friend of Jeff Lowe, Joe Exotic’s business partner.
Allen has a track record of felony convictions, including assault, and has served time in prison for the same.
He revealed that he was offered $3,000 by Joe to eliminate Carole Baskin but settled on $5,000.
Glover claims his plan was to "take the money and run.”
James Garretson
James Garreston is one of the pivotal players in the crazy tale.
He is the man who agreed to snitch on Joe Exotic under the pressure of facing the wrong end of the law himself.
James recorded his conversations with Joe and partner Jeff Lowe, and successfully introduced Exotic to an undercover FBI agent posing as a hitman.
He is being sued by the former zoo owner Joe Exotic, for a $94 million lawsuit against him.
The lawsuit accuses him of perjury, false imprisonment, malicious prosecution and causing mental anguish.
James has since said: "He's claiming it's some kind of conspiracy or whatever. I have not seen the lawsuit, I've just been told about it."
