Below Deck Down Under season 2 – Meet the new cast

Below Deck Down Under: Trailer for Peacock exclusive series

Below Deck Down Under first made its debut last year with a crew sailing around Australia on a luxurious yacht, tending to their guests’ every whim.

With the series ready for another season, there is a new crew on board ready for hard work and plenty of drama.

Who is in the cast of Below Deck Down Under season 2?

Captain Jason Chambers

Returning to lead the way is Captain Jason Chambers, who is more than qualified for the job with 23 years’ experience in the yachting industry.

His favourite place to travel is Papua New Guinea, he enjoys freediving when he isn’t working and misses his daughter while he is away.

Aesha Scott

Another familiar face coming back for season two is Aesha Scott who will once again work as the Chief Stew.

Originally from New Zealand, she has been yachting for the past eight years.

When asked by Bravo what is the one thing which surprises people about living and working on a boat, Scott said: “Stews don’t spend much time outside.

“When you finish a season people are always shocked that we aren’t tan.

“’But you work on a boat!?’ We work inside and don’t see much sun and definitely don’t swim until the season is over.”

Chef Tzarina Mace-Ralph

Newcomer Tzarina Mace-Ralph will be in charge of the food on board as the Northern Sun’s chef.

Tzarina, who is from Bristol, has been working on yachts for the past four years and says her favourite place she’s been to so far is Antigua.

When it comes to what she likes to do when she isn’t working, Tzarina says “meeting new people and obviously a good night out”.

Luke Jones

Bosun Luke Jones isn’t leaving his comfort zone for this trip as he comes from Gold Coast, Australia, having worked on yachts for seven years.

When it comes to his free time, Luke enjoys skydiving and any “water based” activities.

Although he does admit something which may surprise people to know about the job is it can be isolating when it comes to friends and family.

Deckhand Adam Kodra

Compared to the rest of the crew, deckhand Adam is a newbie, having only been working on yachts for the past year.

The New Yorker enjoys skateboarding and playing rugby when he isn’t at sea and says his special skill is “navigating boats by way of the stars”.

Harry Van Vliet

Australian Harry Van Vliet is another deckhand on board the Northern Sun who is a fan of water sports, anything from scuba diving to wakeboarding.

With three years’ worth of experience under his belt, Harry says he is able to “be friends with everyone” which is bound to help him out while working with some temperamental colleagues and guests.

Margot Sisson

Stew Margot Sisson has been in the industry for just two years but she has already rubbed shoulders with other Below Deck alumni, having worked with Natasha DeBourg from Sailing Yacht.

Margot, from Washington, enjoys exploring new cities when she’s on land and “finding every bakery I possibly can”.

Laura Bileskalne

Stew Laura is originally from Latvia and says her favourite place she has visited is Key West, Florida.

Having worked on yachts for the past three years, she admits the crew doesn’t have a “luxury life” which some people might assume.

Below Deck Down Under season 2 starts on Monday, July 17, on Bravo.
