Top Boy: Season 3 official trailer on Netflix
WARNING: This article contains major spoilers from Top Boy.
Top Boy season three saw the gang drama brought to an end but an actor has since addressed the possibility of reviving the show in the form of a spin-off.
Netflix announced earlier this year that the show would finish with its third series which came out in full on Thursday, September 7.
The show ended with the unexpected deaths of its leading men Dushane (played by Ashley Walters) and Sully (Kane “Kano” Robinson) with the latter killing his business partner.
Meanwhile, Sully was murdered by an unknown enemy who fatally shot the dealer through his car window in the last few minutes of the finale.
Nevertheless, there has been talk of a spin-off focusing on one of its other main characters.

Stef (Araloyin Oshunremi) had a heartbreaking time in Top Boy, watching his brother Jamie (Micheal Ward) get shot by Sully in the season two finale.
With his other brother Aaron (Hope Ikpoku Jnr) moving to Leeds for work, Stef was left to defend himself and anger was building up against Sully in particular.
He was even ready to shoot him but Stef decided he wasn’t worth it in the last few moments and thankfully walked away.
But Stef actor Oshunremi believes his story could continue with a spin-off taking him away from Summerhouse.

When asked if the show could return in the shape of a spinoff by Digital Spy, he said: “I feel like there is. There could be potential with Stefan’s characters.
“I don’t feel that with Jaq’s character because she turns legit by taking away the drugs, we can see that she doesn’t want to be involved in the drugs stuff.
“I feel like with Stef there’s definitely potential that he could probably fly to America.
“I feel like Stef’s character could fly out there and do some stuff. In the end, there’s definitely potential.”
Actor Walters did explain in an interview with GQ that Netflix was interested in continuing the drama but he and fellow executive producer Kano weren’t keen.
“[Netflix] wanted to go on forever!”, he said.
“And Kane [Robinson] and I were like, ‘Personally, we can’t.’
“We don’t think it’s the right thing to do. It may have gone on too long anyway.
“Not that it’s not been great and the seasons have all been great and everyone’s loved them and I’ve loved them.
“But it wouldn’t have been right. I like to end on a high.”
Top Boy is available to watch on Netflix.
